With 35 years of experience in Clinical Exercise, your one-on-one sessions will be a unique personal service that is tailored to your specific needs and goals following your cardiac-related event.

Mark delivers face-to-face Cardiac Rehabilitation exercise sessions across the North West of England covering areas such as Preston, Blackburn, Darwen, Chorley, Burnley, and Bolton.

Further afield is covered via audio-visual equipment or online exercise programme design.

Bespoke one to one Muscular Fitness training for clients with long term medical conditions
Our course is delivered in two segments. Part One is online and Part Two is in person, on a one-on-one basis. On the online course, you will watch live presentations via online lectures and participate in interactive activities taught by Mark, a Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist. On the in-person course, you will have the exclusive and unique opportunity to spend the day with Mark to practice your resistance training exercises and muscular fitness testing in his unique home studio. There is no requirement for you to attend both sections of the course.

Whether you choose the online or in-person course, you will learn everything you need to know to safely and effectively prescribe resistance training exercises for apparently healthy individuals or clients with long-term medical conditions.

If so, then you need to know about the positive effects of resistance training. Resistance training is a safe and effective way to improve muscle strength, endurance, and function. It can also help to reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, and other chronic diseases.

In this unique course, your needs will be our focus to ensure that you have a good understanding of the basics of resistance training prescription and programme design, before we teach you any advanced approaches. As this will be your personal course, we will design it around your specific requirements. We can review anything of your choice, from the anatomy and physiology of muscle, muscular movements of the major muscle groups and their planes of movement, to advanced resistance training programme designs. Up course completion and having ensured your needs have been met we would expect you to be a confident and knowledgeable prescriber of resistance training exercise.

The course is delivered in two parts: an online section and an in-person one-on-one session. In the online section, you will learn the basics of resistance training prescription and program design. On the in-person session, you will have the opportunity to practice your skills with Mark, a Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist, who specialises in Cardiac Rehabilitation.
